Bunnies!

I made these bunnies for Ernest in Christmas 2006. I don't have the pattern so I can't share that with you. I check just recently at Jo-Ann's in the pattern books, and couldn't find it so they must be discontinued.

Ernest loves bunnies, the color blue and things that are soft. These bunnies covered all 3 items! I love how the bunny friends arms are long and skinny (they are not stuffed) so that they can wrap their arms around each other. The second fat bunny is filled with micro beads. Filling him was a horror. Those little micro beads clung to EVERYTHING. I finally filled Mr. Bunny and it was worth it, he is so squishy and soft.

Here is my scissors (covered in micro beads!)

those beads really do look intense! love the end project though and the fact that they turned out so cute makes it worth it (doesn't it?). :)

Micro bead madness!!! I agree with Kira. The end product makes you forget the hassles. So cute!

It is Simplicity 4591. If you want to borrow mine, you are welcome to. I also copied and shrunk my pattern so if you want a smaller pattern, I have that too.

Where did you find the eyes and nose for your bunnies??? That looks way better than my attempt at fabric eyes. . .

I bought the eyes and nose at Jo-Anns. I think they were by the beading section. They were very easy to use too :)
