Valentines Wreath

I found a great idea & tutorial for a Valentine's wreath and knew I had to make it.  It was very easy and Hannah even made half of it for me!

We love it!

Heart Clover/Shamrock Shirt

Tutorial found here

I wanted to make Hannah a "Lucky" shirt for St. Patricks Day, but she didn't like that idea, so I started looking for new ideas.  I came across this tutorial from iCandy and Hannah loved the shirt that she made.

I used green fabric, a shirt from Savers, a heart template (downloaded from the internet) and some Heat n Bond.

 Here's Hannah's "serious" look

and her "model" pose.

I love that the fabrics are all from projects that my mom or I made.
Best of all, Hannah loves it!

4th of July Shirt

2nd Attempt (it's a keeper!)

I made a 4th of July shirt last year from the Makes and Takes tutorial.  UNFORTUNATELY, I did not test the red t-shirt fabric first, and when I wash it, the red dye transferred all over the shirt!

This year I wanted to make the "girl" shirt again, but had SO much trouble with the gathering and sewing the ruffles onto the knit shirt, that I finally gave up and made the "boy" design.

The button stars are perfect for the shirt.

Even though it's the "boy" design, Hannah loves it!
